Tainted Water:  The PFOA Contamination in

Yaphank Groundwater Program was a great success.

Presented on August 1, 2017 and sponsored by Water for Long Island & Sierra Club of Long Island at the Mastic-Moriches-Shirley Community Public Library Auditorium, nearly 50 people attended.  Our thanks to the Library for providing the space to service the community.  The community is getting organized to help guide the necessary remediation of the Firematic Training site in Yaphank and the groundwater contaminated by training activities that over the years.  For more information on this site, see the section of the website, Documents and Publications.
